Raestown Infirmary
Malcolm had a very uneasy time of it last night. He was plagued with fits of dilirium and nightmares, all the time tossing and turning in his bunk. Between screams, that would awake the dead, and singing that silly song about a yellow brick road, we could not make much sense of his ramblings. At one time he called out for "Auntie Emm", but we do not have such a relative. He would only respond to our attentions when we referred to him as "Dorothea", and he kept repeating "we're not in Kansas any more".
At one point he leaped on top of his bunk and yelled "I'm a monkey, and i can fly"!! Just then the Church bell rang in the village. He looked down at me and said softly "Clarence, that means an Angel just got it's wings".
We finally got him settled down around daybreak. We administered a goodly portion of Seamus's Golden Elixir that was given to him by Uncle Angus. This seemed to settle his composure and allowed him to rest quietly. He has given us all a scare, but seems to have the worst behind him. I will continue to watch over him, as the Captain has releived me of guard duty for this purpose.
