: : Miss Gaylee Cooper extends an apology for the typo which led to all the ribald comments regarding electric girdles for the Church Breakfast.  The item requested, of course,  is electric GRIDDLES!  In addition to electric GRIDDLES for pancakes and waffles, the Reverend Wheelock would appreciate the loan of a Dutch Oven to keep his buns warm.

: Uh huh... well, to be honest, Miss Gaylee, I'm truly at a loss as to how to answer this!!!  I mean, good gracious, Miss, a 'bun warmer'???  First a 'girdle' and now... a 'bun warmer'.... well, I never...

: If EVER a man was on the scrounge, it's the Rev. Wheelock!!! 'Sakes alive, Miss Gaylee, that man has a habit of borrowing the Mohicanland ladies' 'sundries' - and that's the last we see of them!!  Why, only last week, at the Parish Garage Sale, didn't I see Miss Marcia's orange squeezer up for grabs??? And when I tried to explain to the Reverend that he had BORROWED it for the LAST church Breakfast, and Miss Marcia would be looking to get it back, he looked me straight in the eye and asked me if I would have asked Jesus to return the donkey he 'borrowed', or would I allow him to sell it to have the church roof repaired?? 

: I declare, Miss Gaylee, that man sometimes has an 'attitude'!!  So - I may have to think on this request, some more...
