Are you trying to rememdy that situation for me??????  I hear those who ride with you have the wild ride of their lives, and upon exiting the vehicle they have snow white hair!!!

: : : : : Well, Dearest Billygnome,  it's like this:  them as leave my car with gray hair probably ENTERED it with gray hair.  Though, to be REALLY, REALLY honest, I was NOT at my driving peak last year, what with having a) a FLORIDA truck which would not go over 45MPH on a mountain road, and b) having a terrible infection of the eyes, which did not allow for the clearest of vision, especially at night.  I will grudgingly confess to having scared my passengers (not to mention MYOWNSELF) once or twice at that particular Gathering.  But that's all better now.  I can SEE again.  Mostly.  

: : : : : And SOME of those wild rides were hilariously fun...just try outrunning the Golf Cart Police in a FLORIDA truck!  There we were, straining & striving to urge that little truck up the steep hill to the Creekside cabins late at night, when...BUSTED!!  Here comes the Campground Constable in his wee little cart.

: : : : : CONSTABLE:  Lissen up, Missy!  We have rules around here.  There's a STRICT 10MPH speed limit in this campground...and by golly, if you CAN'T get up to THAT, then you can just get OUT!

: : : You think riding with Marcia can be fun? While racing to a certain sunrise on the Oh-so-curvy Blue Ridge Parkway I "accidental-like" bumped my lights off with my coffee cup. Try driving the Parkway, in pitch black, by "feel". A sca-a-a-a-ary prospect! Everyone was good and awake after that one...even Ilse!

: : I am REALLY beginning to wonder if the Governor of North Carolina and the NC State Troopers have been advised the Mohican Maniacs are returning again this year??????????????  Can it be they are unaware that we all will be back on their roads and again terrifying locals and LOTM'ers alike?  If they are aware, I assume the directions to Geneva will include routes to take which lead us AROUND the armed roadblocks they set up?

: Okay, so Diana drives in the dark with her lights off - she's conserving her battery for when she REALLY needs it!!! Okay, so MMMMarcia drove onto the hard shoulder of the road, in the dark, 'cause she couldn't see where the road went! That's cause she was keeping her attention for when she REALLY needed it!!  Hey... think of the Gathering as being that 'adventcha' Alice talked about!!  Get into the spirit of the thing, man!!  

: 'Take A Chance On Us', as the song goes! Honest! You'll have a GREAT time!!  Cecilia did, Ilse did, as did Huggy!! Didn'tcha, girls!!  

: Well, to be honest, Marcia and I  don't hold with those 'directions' to the various locations - we tend to find OUR OWN, don't we Marcia??  Okay, they may be a somewhat LONGER route that those given by Rich but hey... our idea of a holiday is to see EVERYTHING, right MMMM?  Yeah, okay, we kinda went the wrong way out of Hendersonville but... that's just 'cause we wanted to see that pretty little town one more time before heading off home!! (I don't know WHERE you got the idea we got lost - Huggy???) No sirreee!  The word 'vacation' means - goin' in new di-rections! And by golly, that's just what we DID!! Right, MMMM???
