: Since my last carefully worded & well-thought out message met an untimely demise with the Archiving of the Board, I figured I throw up a hastily composed and probably incoherent recap.

: 1. I will SOON be posting all checks received to date for the Geneva & Chimney Rock portions of the Gathering. Please be sure you have funds on hand (still)to cover yours! If there is a problem, let me know quickly.

: 2. Please remember that Friday afternoon at the Geneva promises to be a time of relaxation & visitation, something many folks complained was lacking in the past, due to our normal hectic pace. You will have time to chat with old friends, meet & get to know new ones, fish (if you like), sit in the shade (if you like), horseback ride (if you like) or just take a nap under a tree. There will be food. Good food. Lots of it. There will be refreshing beverages. Good beverages. Lots of them. There will be MUSIC. GREAT music. Lots of it. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS WONDERFUL AFTERNOON! The Lady Ann has gone to great lengths to see that we have a fun-filled social hour or six. Sign up SOON!

: 3. If you have not yet decided where you want to stay, PLEASE consider the Geneva. It will be Gathering Central, and it offers just about everything your heart could ask for in types of accommodations. It will be where everyone returns each evening to wind down, have a drink at the Tiki Lounge, and browse the Trader's Cabin, the Raffle Items, and Ariel's Cabin. Be there or be SQUARE!

: 4. Don't forget to buy your raffle tickets as soon as possible for either or both of the wonderful Wes Studi prints which have been donated to us for our EXTREME viewing pleasure! Not only will you have a chance to own one of these fine works of art for yourself, but your monies will be put to good use bringing Wes and family to the Gathering. This will add something brand new and exciting to our Fourth Gathering, and I think everyone will really enjoy meeting & getting to know this talented actor & musician. Please consider supporting this effort if you possibly can! It's a once-in-a-lifetime chance to spend some time with someone I know we all respect and admire.

: 5. Lastly, but VERY IMPORTANTLY, if you have reserved a room at the Geneva and have not yet paid for it in full, PLEASE CONTACT ME as soon as possible. I will be happy to work with you in any way that I can, but I need to hear from you. The time is drawing nigh, folks!
