Your Mighty Mohican Mama Marcia has important questions and info for you all:

1. It will soon be time for me to deposit checks & make payments to the Geneva & Chimney Rock. If you have not yet sent me your money for accommodations or the day at the Park, please do so as quickly as possible. If you cannot pay just yet, please email me to make some kind of alternate arrangement. Things must be done soon...nobody will be spared! ;o)

2. I understand that only 50 some odd (and I mean ODD in the NICEST sense) folks have signed up for Friday afternoon at Cedar Creek Campground. Can this possibly be right? Are there really 30 or so folks who are going off by themselves on Friday, rather than coming to the potluck supper & concert? I can't imagine it. If it's the horseback riding putting you off, don't forget that's completely optional. For MY part, I intend to have something cold to drink in my hands & a shady spot to sit & really VISIT with folks. If it's the thought of bringing something to contribute to the dinner, don't forget you can just pick up something from a nearby grocery, deli or restaurant to contribute. Even something as simple as purchased cookies, chips, or something of that ilk would probably be fine. Check with Ann as to what is still needed, certainly, but I wouldn't think you would have to involve yourself cooking if you didn't wish to. It's just that this particular afternoon seems to me like it's going to be so relaxing and fun, I cannot fathom why ANYONE would choose to miss it. Will you consider this? PLEASE consider this!

3. The Geneva is still not full. We have several queens and 2 kings left, and 3 spaces in one apartment & 1 space in another. If you have not made your accommodation arrangements yet, won't you please consider staying with us. The reason we chose the Geneva is that it has something for everyone, and we were really hoping to get our whole group under one roof. We could cover one or possible two rooms out of other funds, but not this many. If no one else signs on, we will have to release these rooms back to the Geneva, and that means that there will be other folks staying there with us. This opens up the possibility that we may have to be a tad more restrained than is our wont. It would be SO much nicer to have the place entirely to ourselves.

OK, that's about all I can think of for now. In summary:

1. Make sure that check you sent me is good, as it's time to pay the piper soon.

2. Sign up for Cedar Creek!! You'll be sorry if you miss it, sartain!

3. Consider joining us at the Geneva if you haven't already. It's where the Action is!

I'll help any way I can!
