However, you'll be happy to know that the wind chill here yesterday morning was -17.  Now that it's spring, we're finally getting down to having winter weather.  :o)

: : Well, there has been a theory that in time, the weight of the ice cap will cause the earth (as in world) to flip.  Perhaps that is happening?  Whereby you'll have 90 degree weather in Alaska and beach condos and gators, and in Florida you will have snow snow snow?  If that is happening, I hear Chris will be having a closeout sale on sled dogs!!!!  Or, you could teach your gators to pull a sleigh MMMMarcia!!  Oh, bad idea.  They get kind of sedentary in freezing weather don't they?

: Yep, the DO tend to slow down when the temp drops below 70, but on the other hand, gator hide would make for some mighty sturdy mukluks!  

: But now I have to go ponder on this Flipping Earth theory... what would a map look like with the peninsula of Florida pointing the way to the North Pole.  Only it would be the South Pole...except that it would be NORTH.  And the North Pole would be South.  So the Antarctic would be on the top, and the Arctic would be down under.  And speaking of Down Under, the Aussies would have to refer to themselves as Up Top then, wouldn't they?
