: : : : : Here in Anchorage, we have pussy willows blooming and green grass (between the patches of snow still left in our yard).  Pretty soon the daffodils and tulips will be poking out of the ground.

: : Sigh!!  I only got to wear my big parka a few times.  We would have liked to have more snow.  This was the first winter in recorded history that we never went below zero.  Totally wierd!

: Well, Chris, I guess WE got Alaska's share as well as our own!!  The temperatures have dropped below freezing quite a few times here, we've had A LOT of snow and for the first time in years, our snow has lain for a few weeks before melting away, which is unusual for us.  I live in a coastal town and usually the salt air melts the snow - not so THIS year!!

: As you say, Chris, the weather has  definitely been VERY weird here!  And I've hardly had the fleece lining out of my jacket at ALL this winter!!
