: : : Now now, you two!  Every Southroner knows that the BEST way to eat peanuts is stuffed down the neck of a tall cold bottle of  RC Cola...chased with a tasty Moonpie! (Hmmmm...appetizers for the Potluck perhaps?)

: : Oh, definitely true, Lady Ann...BUT...in order to enjoy those peanuts in the R(O)C Co-Cola (as they say it where *I* come from), they must be ROASTED first!  I can tell you for SARTAIN sure that if you stuff BALLED peanuts down that bottle of RC, you would NOT be pleased with the results!  Yuk! (IMHO, that is!)

:    An R-a-C Co-Cola, A banana Moon Pie, balled peanuts, and a big hunk a urnge hup cheese, with a few Saltines, was the normal fare for ol' E.W. and me when we put up all those chain link fences around Albany, Ga. from 1972 to 1974. Once in awhile we treated ourselves to a big tin a' fish steaks in mustard sauce while we listened to Jerry Clower on the radio. Those were the good old days!!!
