: I, too, am dismayed that you and your family won't be able to attend the Gathering. I was ready to provide chaffeur services yet another year! Please keep positive thoughts - much can happen in four months. (I haven't told Karen yet - she will also be very disappointed and concerned.)

I want to thank all of you that have written and/or called (Adele called me from England yesterday) This morning it really hit home and I`ve been very down. (was supposed to go to work tonight) The notes really help. I`m not giving up on Gathering. Cyndie even said if I can get the time and can find a way to get there I may still be able to come myself. We`ll just have to see what the next 3 months bring.
Well, I better git. I have dishes to do and a couple loads of cloths to wash. I have to start planning what I`m cooking for supper to. Yes. I do these things. Hey! Someday I may make someone a good wife. :) As long as they don`t make me do all this wearing nothing but a breechclout! Hahahaha
