Miss Marcia finds herself terribly distressed at the above article and photograph. In fact, she has had to go lie down with a cold compress on her smooth, white forehead and a small glass of the cooking sherry, purely for medicinal purposes, doncha know, while I, her cousin from down south, MMMMarcia, take care of this dismal mess for her.

Really, Courier! (May I call you by your first name?) You have gone too far this time! I don't know whether Miss Marcia was more upset over being linked with the "Hawkpoop" person and thus rocking the ever-fragile balance of her relationship with Sheriff Benton (Just Call Me Bent) Twigg...or over the fact that in your rather BIZARRE looking photograph, this Hawkpoop man seems so TINY, and Miss Marcia, so...so...NOT! Being a full-figured woman, myself, I can understand why any display designed to make Miss Marcia look FOUR OR FIVE TIMES LARGER THAN NORMAL would be MOST upsetting to her delicate sensibilities!

Therefore, I can only promise you that unless some sort of acceptable retraction is made, and SOON, you will probably be hearing from Miss Marcia's Mohicaland Attorney's, Mssrs. Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe, and will find yourself embroiled in a libel and slander suit the likes of which you cannot imagine! (Plus, she says to tell you, and I quote: "Ugly is as Ugly does, sticks and stones may break my bones but an unflattering picture breaks my heart, and so's yer mama!" (I'm not quite sure what any of that has to do with the price of tobaccy, but that's what she said.)

Lastly, having looked things over myself with a purely impartial mindset, I have to say that though Miss Marcia DOES look a tad HUMONGOUS in your picture, she's sure got some good looking hair!
