Linville Gorge-the fire-the Gathering

Hi! I have been away for a month, but I am still here and excited about the Gathering. Trying to work it out so I can get a babysitter...I am sure there won't be any 4 year olds on this trip! I was wondering, how is the Gorge after the fire? I am sure this has been discussed, but I missed it.
