Hello All, this is my first ever posting on this forum. Woohooo! :) Anyways, I've been doing some research into the 7yrs. war, and I've come to find out that the facings for the 35th Regiment of Foot were orange. I watched the movie again, and it looks to me like the facings in the movie were buff or yellow. Can anyone clarify? Also, I noticed that the only mitre caps present in the movie were on the drummers, from what I can tell, only the 60th, and the 48th grenadiers wore bearskins. Although, a nice job was done on the 60th. Yes a 100 man attachment was sent to Ft. William Henry in real life. And yes, the 60th was a royal regiment, they were titled: 60th Royal American Regiment of Foot. Comprised of germans, americans, europeans, and even most of their officers were swiss. Well, sorry for the nitpicking. If anyone can clarify perhaps on the facing colors of the 35th, it'd be much appreciated. :)
