: It's such a beautiful wintry day today...I can see the snow a-sparklin' outside my kitchen window, and the icicles hangin' down from the eaves, and the purty frost pictures on the glass. How lovely! And even MORE lovely is the fact that *I* don't have to go OUT in it! heheheeeee...I can stay in my warm, steamy kitchen, close to the fire, stirrin' up a kettle of hearty Rabbits & Roots Stew for tonight's dinner. Now, lemmee see...a pinch o' salt, and a shake o' pepper, and maybe a whole handful o' these dried dandelion greens for some color. *sluuuurp!* Ahhhhh...TASTY!!!

Mercy me, is that Miss Marcia meandering merrily through the milky Mohicanland snowdrifts? - - well, no, not exactly merrily, I sense. And not meandering either! Doggone, if she's not struggling up the hill pulling a sled, and with that worthless hound Hector sittin' up on the sled like he just come into a million pounds and hired him his own private chauffeuress!
Hold on there, Miss Marcia - what's the meaning of this? Why you are nearly frozen. You've got icicles hanging off your chin, and those poor little delicate southern hands are downright blue from cold. Don't you know better than to come out on a day like this wearing nothing on your fragile femen-ine hands but your lace mitts? Gracious!
