Dear Susan,

After having met Agnes "in dog," and enjoying her spirited movie performances in your wonderfully directed film, "The Least of the Mohicans," I can say with genuine sorrow that she will be missed by many. I know it is very hard to lose a beloved animal (having lost THREE in the last six months, including a very special cat that had been with us for 16 years). Though there is an empty place in your house shaped just like Agnes, there is no doubt a very full and grateful feeling in your heart for having shared so many years with her. May your memories of her bring you much joy and help you through this time of loss.
