Returned to Duty

:   Flags says that Davey and Malcolm have been restored to duty. Their wounds have healed sufficiently to allow them to complete day to day chores, and the Captain has ordered them back to their posts. Flags and myself have discussed returning to the east, and wish to convey our thoughts to them. We are not sure of the Captain's plans for us, and would rather not go against his orders, but we are not willing to continue this style of life. We must speak to Davey and Malcolm of this decision.

:   Seamus has not shown improvement, we fear the French ball in his skull will put an end to him. But as strong as our desire to move on, we cannot abandon our dear cousin. We have heard someone say that blood is thicker than water; we know the meaning so very well.

:   Rangers have come in from the south and west today and advise us the French are still lurking near by. The Fort at the Forks is still occupied, although with a small garrison, and still pose a threat to us all. My advise would that we march on them and wipe the French scum from this part of the world forever, but then i am not a military advisor........just a woodsman scout, and have my own plans involving my loved ones in the opposite direction.

:   I must be patient, i will not leave Seamus in his state, but i grow more anxious by the hour.
