Hi,
I originally posted this question last evening, but it was archived before it was answered, so I've moved it over here. Since I have no patience and couldn't find this in about 3 minutes of searching on this terrific site (to which I've been referring people, BTW), I thought I'd just ask my new question and come back later to find another informative, well-written response. Here goes: I was reading my On the Trail last night, and I noticed it said that the scene of Nathaniel and Cora embracing after Magua's death was filmed a year after the primary filming. (1) Why was that, and (2) were any of the other scenes filmed so much later? For bonus points: If primary filming was in the summer of '91 and the film was released in the fall of '92, how did that work? Once again, thank you in advance for helping a curious newbie.
