First off, let me welcome you to the board. If you're as hooked on LOTM as the rest of us, you'll fit right in.

With regard to the DVD version of the movie, you'll definetely get different points of view. Some people like it, others don't. For a review of the version, you can check out the main site and select the DVD Version icon. The Complete Script section also contains the DVD script additions.

Personally, I'm unable to comment because I don't have a DVD player. From what I've been told, however, the clarity and resolution of the DVD is far superior to the VHS version and while it does contain some additional scenes, there have been some changes in the script. One scene which was not included in the DVD, but which was highly anticipated, was the love scene between Uncas and Alice (*sigh*).
