The 35th Regiment of Foot

In the film LOTM the 35th Regiment of Foot only seemed to have three officers. Colonel Monroe, Major Hayward and Captain Beams. Now a Regiment would of had around 20 officers, how come you never see any others with a sash? And was Captain Beams killed?
