: : : Well I AM a gnome after all!  You would be amazed at how often we arent even noticed!  I bet there is a whole family in your garden that you haven't even been aware of.  About the only time folks know we have been around is when they check out their cisterns and hot tubs.

: : Ah Ha!  In my garden you say??  So perhaps that explains why my darling little Dachshunds have developed such an intense interest for whatever hides in the garden shrubs each evening?  Come to think of it, I do recall hearing the odd little squeak or two after they disappeared under the leaves.  Do you perhaps have any relatives living north of the border Billygnome?

: Sure I do.  I have relatives all over.  When you live to be hundreds of years, you get a rather large extended family.  Heck, I'd have even MORE relatives if that creep Doc Mary would go outta business and quit with the gnome butter already.
