Well, if you bought it to look at the pretty pictures - and that's all - maybe so, maybe not. But if you EVER had or will have the desire to actually GO TO the places in the movie - and see where the famous leaning tree is for the first ambush - etc -then it is INDISPENSABLE. You can't find the places without it.
Sure - you could find Biltmore on your own - but would you even know parts had been filmed at the Biltmore - or where the cottage was, or where exactly the cliff scenes were filmed? Nope. You need the guide. However, if all you wanted to do was look at pretty pictures - you could have saved yourself money and aggravation by getting a Dell comic book of your choice.

: : : The book is actually a small pamphlet and not worth the money

: And here we have it, folks, the question of whether to be honest or tactful... It seems Tara knows where SHE stands on this issue! And, well, it seemed like a good answer to ME! :o)
: I guess it depends on what you see as 'value for money', Ron. I'd have paid TWICE what I did, if you are referring to 'On The Trail...'
