Well, Miss Marcia has asked for a roster of Mohicanland's fuzzy, buzzy little friends who inhabit The Calm Bee Nation.
The Bee Holder first appeared as a disembodied observer "beholding" an event in the forest and furthering the plot of our little scenario by relating what was going on as if he were seeing it from the bank of the river. He was a take-off on James Fenimore Cooper's Bee Hunter in the novel "The Oak Openings". Although the original character is a white man, I made The Bee Holder an Indian ("Brother of The Sagamore", referring to Chingachgook). Since a Bee Holder must have bees, pretty soon Spelling Bee buzzed onto the Board to smugly correct somebody's typo. Soon bees were appearing for use in various scrapes and melees in the forest, and lo and beehold, eventually they evolved into The Calm Bee Nation.
The list beelow is the roster of the Hives. Useful little creatures they are, and although they sometimes are a little overenthusiastic in their good intentions, they love to bee a part of all the goings on. All citizens of Mohicanland are welcome to call on any of the Bees for assistance in fun and games. Creativity is their strong point.
