: : : : Oh, Bill!  How can you see that?  Here, just when we were thinking we'd be stuck with a brown Christmas, we got 6-7" of the lovely stuff last night.  I just finished shoveling the driveway,  and I'm sitting here with my face all aglow from the cold, and my arms and back are aching.  But never mind, we'll have a WHITE CHRISTMAS!!  (Unless, of course, the predicted winds are a chinook, and the temperature soars into the 40s again.  The weather forecasters are hedging their bets on that subject.)  Anyway, didn't you just move back there from the banana belt?  If so, it's your own fault.  Quit your whining!

Because the DEMOCRATIC administration in Madison Wisconsin sees no point in sending plows out or salting or icing the roads because of the "year end budget". : And let's not forget the jolly fun SALT has with the bottom of your average car! How well I remember seeing generations of my uncles' cars in Pittsburgh with the bottoms rotted out. Looked like some big snow monster reached up and took bites out of 'em. 
: But you want fun? Have them announce snow in South Carolina. Let four flakes fall. Folks mob the grocery stores, buy up all the  milk and bread, and proceed to drive like a combination of Richard Petty and Mister Magoo. Think about that.
