Dear Bill,

Hey, if I can adjust, so can you. After all those years in Virginia and Texas, I am back in the northland, learning to drive in THAT STUFF again. As to the 6 degrees, you're in good shape. Snow time is HUNTING time for the Longhunters! Although LOTM took place in July, but Hawkeye spent a fair amount of his time slogging through the snow in Cooper's novels. "The Pioneers" was almost all in December and starts with Hawkeye (called The Leatherstocking, by that time), pursuing a deer through the snow. It's a wonderful scene.
