: It used to be clearer that some of our fantasy characters were based on James Fenimore Cooper characters and characters from the movie, i.e. She Who Tracks La Longue Carabine, a Natty Bumppo take-off; Dweebie Day-Lewis, Hawkeye's ditzy cousin; Uncle Wiscone, from our fun with misunderstanding the movie audio; Bent Twigg as a take-off on Cooper's inevitable Indian trail scenarios; The Bee Holder, a take-off on Cooper's character in The Oak Openings, etc.  We all got so used to the connections there, that we don't make them obvious anymore, so visitors well might be baffled by our fun scenarios.  Also, so many of our characters like Miss Marcia, Sassy the Soothsayer and the whole Calm Bee Nation were second generation offshoots of the original take-offsand the original "citizenry" of Mohicanland, making it even more esoteric.  So probably we should bring up the connections now and then.  It will hone our "Visitor- friendly" skills and help people orient themselves to the community.

: Okay, okay *holding hands up*, I never made the connection that the various characters all had a link.....and I just jumped in with my alter egos who have absolutely no relevance whatsoever!  But I would be very sad to see the back of Huggy or Yengeese Strumpet.......but I think your idea is great, Gayle, to try and make any connections more obvious.
