:   We have our final workday prior to the opening of the waterfalls(High and Triple) this Saturday, December 16 at 10am. No word yet as to when Bridle Veil will open but I would guess in a few short weeks.  We are again meeting at the Hooker Falls parking lot on Staton Road.  If you can, please RSVP so we can do some better crew planning.Read about our progress last week and what we plan to be doing in this post from last week.

:   Sat Dec 2 witnessed another mass of over 32 trail volunteers to work on trails in the Falls area despite  snow being down on the trail in  many areas. Ages ranged from 5(Patrick Jennings) to 70+(I will never tell). Well over 150 hrs of labor were preformed and again the crew got done  more than organizers had thought possible. We worked on more water drainage to the trail leading to Triple Falls and in the High Falls area, installed handrails to assist in stair sections of trail, and started an awesome set of locust log/rock flagstone stairs.This Sat's(Dec 16) project will finish the stairs project, cut new trail-tread from top of stairs to picnic shelter, some rail work in shelter area and a few other projects. This is the last day of work for this area before the official opening date of Sun Dec. 17. Anyone interested in helping should RSVP via email to buckforest@yahoo.com for confirmation. Having a rough guess of how many really helps in the planning process. Please meet at the Hooker Falls parking lot/trailhead at 10am. Bring work gloves, warm clothes, good footwear, food and water. If you have any good trail tools bring
