Yes, and I believe when those are counted, the contest will no longer be so close. I honestly think Bush will have enough to win. But I still think every vote should be counted. It's my RIGHT to have my vote count, unless *I* screw it up.

I fear this is probably true, and is something that, now that it has been brought to light, needs to be reworked somehow to lessen the likelihood. In most states, however, a certain amount of lost votes will not make a difference in the final outcome. Only here, THIS time, when you are talking about less than 300 votes separating the candidates is it quite so critical. Regardless, our voting system needs an overhaul. Maybe it should come into the 21st century with the rest of us. Or maybe it should be kept Stupid Simple with the black magic marker & circles to color in that *I* received.

: Like Bill, frankly do not care who wins. Well, I might be a little biased against familial pedigree - whose father's famous line was - "READ MY LIPS". I can not blame the son for the father's sin(s) or can I ?!? Let them settle it once and for all, Mohican style - whatever that might be. Here's to FV's suggestion for a standardized vote!

I think that will be the best thing to come out of this election, in the long run. I HOPE that four years from now, many of these issues have been addressed and corrected, and that we never find ourselves in THIS situation again! I think we can all agree we don't want this to happen ever again!
