Greetings All,
have been away for a spell (health & family), but as always Simon Girty's bootleg rotgut has helped nurse me ;-)
Was sort'a playing catch-up in the archives & I ran across this thread. Was wondering what y'all thought of this series?
I'd heard about it about 2 yrs ago, after talking to some Butler's Rangers mates of mine from Brantford (Ontario) who were in it (wish I could've joined them).
Anyhow, my personal favorite episodes were those dealing with the F&I War and the Rev War (of course).
For those who saw Butler's Rangers in the Rev War episode, it might interest you to know that these living historians (McDonnell's Coy -- Brantford), are all descendants of the original Rangers!
Great series, I look forward to the rest to air in 2001!
:-)
I've gotta' go, but will be lurking in the shadows from time to time with ol' Girty ;-)
