: Seems like we've been through this before, say 225 years ago. I think you can only "revoke" something that was bestowed. I think if it was taken by force, it must be retaken in the same manner. Besides, we haven't failed to elect a president, we're just keeping the rest of the world in suspense. We all know who was elected. And tell the old girl to come on over. There are no free rides here, you have to get elected, even if the process is sometimes combersome, it's far superior to birthright. NS

Don't laugh too quickly, guys. A friend of mine heard a radio broadcast in which someone from Europe said that the office of the President of the United States was too important an office to be voted upon by just the citizens of the US. It should be voted upon by the entire world. Honest, folks. And he was being serious.
