The newest DVD release of "The Last of the Mohicans," is scheduled for January 23, 2001. This appears to be solely the work of FOX, and, as far as we can tell, is the Expanded Edition found on the previous DVD release. Sorry, Marcia and Myrrh and Penny!

What is DTS Surround Sound & Widescreen Anamorphic Format? Beats the heck out of me! All I know, is that they are the state-of-the-art formats in audio & video, which means that this release is as good as it gets, the best of the best. I suppose it also means that this release will not come with any little disclaimer inserts.

Yeah, as keepers of the flame, ours is ordered already! It sure would be nice if we got a freebie once in awhile! Ah heck, we then probably wouldn't appreciate it! :-)
