Jordan.....
Now, don't forget there was much more to frontier life than just Fort William Henry....If you are going to do a project concerning the Frontier, esp. during Seven Years' War (which some call the French and Indian War), you have the Forbes Expedition of 1758 to consider.
THAT is really frontier...building a road from present day Chambersburg to Ligonier, PA...through the wilderness, over the mountains, hundreds of horses and wagons involved, marauding native Americans, thousands of British and provincial troops strung out from Carlisle to present day Pittsburgh...etc., etc. And all of this in the back yard of where Washington got his start at Fort Necessity (if he only would have understood French!!, it might have all been different!!) and where Braddock was defeated...
Ooopps!! My passion for Pennsylvania history during the Seven Years' War is showing!!
Pax Aye! And good luck to you for whatever project you choose...
