: : : Here's that Gadget Girl again, with her little toesies right on the spot where Alice's feet are shown.  We asked her to try to look pathetic and vacant eyed, as per Jodhi May's able performance, but this was the best she could do!  (Don't give up your DAY job, Girlfriend!)  At least the grin tells me she would NEVER let Magua intimidate her enough to leap to her doom.  We coaxed the acrophobic Red Haired Lass out on the spot, as well (tweren't easy!) but I somehow didn't end up with a picture of THAT on my role.  I'm sure one of us has it, though, just to prove she did it.

: Actually, Jeri, it's not nearly as scary as it looks.  There is a ledge about 8' wide that sticks out about 5' under that rock, and though it would still be risky if one fell, it doesn't just plunge straight down like it appears.  I've gone out on that spot every time I've been up the trail.  Once I looked pathetically about while having my husband hold out his hand & beckon me back.  There he was in his plaid flannel shirt, corduroy jeans, and a "fedora" style hat, doing his best Magua...now, THAT was a funny sight!
