Second Fire in Linville Gorge Area!

Hi Nightsky, Rich and all,

Just heard on the news this AM that a second fire had started in the gorge in the Table Rock area. It may possibly threaten the Outward Bound School (within 2 miles) so they would concentrate efforts there for the time being. NC is supposed to get some rain this weekend , so maybe that will help the fire fighting efforts and the dry conditions. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Does that line up with what you guys are hearing? How about Marion, is it smoky there?
