I know that there are at least a few others who believe in hauntings....
My parents live on a lake in TN. (Lake Telico) There is an indian burial ground there that holds the graves of indians who were taken as slaves and eventually either were murdered or died. There are houses built right next to this site. There have been several home owners who have moved (or are still trying to) because of the ghostly experiences they have endured. One family even put up several huge wooden crosses facing the burial ground to ward off the "evil spirits". It aint no BS story either. These are rational people who have reported that their houses are haunted by these ghosts. The spirits initially inhabited the first house that was built next to the burial ground. Once another house was built next to it, the spirits reportedly began haunting that house. A third house was built, the spirits then went to that house, and as far as I know, still reside there. I believe that house is now for sale.
I have to admit, when passing by the burial ground by boat (it is up on a cliff), I get a strange feeling, shivers. And it is so strangely quiet there. So very quiet. Freaky.
