Will you promise not to laugh at Bill's Hawkeye costume, complete with leather breech clout?  Will you wear a gnome hat and agree to be referred to as Betty Gnome until death do you part?

: : Bill, do you promise to allow Betty to drive occasionally, without twitching, even if she does get overtaken by Marcia in a flatbed DDL truck?  Do you promise to take off your gnome hat before any hanky panky?  When you leave for work in the morning, do you promise to grab her, gaze at her piercingly, and tell her to "Stay alive, no matter what occurs" before leaping through the front door into the pouring rain?
