Or, you can have your friend just stay the heck at home where he/she belongs and SEND the chocolate. That way you don't have to engage in inane conversation and can get right down to the important stuff - wolfing down the chocolate. P.S. speaking of humans more appreciated away than present - where the heck is Doc Mary these days. I wouldn't want to give the impression gnomes actually LIKE her, but it does seem tame without her voice gratingly spouting anti-gnomal epithets.
