It's A Winner!!

Last night (for various reasons, I have not had a chance to do so until now) I spent 46 minutes watching 'Exploring A Film's Locations - On the Trail of the Last of the Mohicans - Part 2 (I saw Part 1 not long after getting home from Florida) and I wanted to let you know that 'Exploring...' WAS GREAT! I loved EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF THE WHOLE THING!!!

I was particularly thrilled to see the footage of the Fort William Henry location!! Seeing all the foundations and bits of fort, really brought it home to me that I have REALLY stood on the site where my favourite film was shot! But, there was so little to see by the time I finally got there with the Great Mohican Gathering '99. And actually seeing the Huron Village - WOW!!! Yeah, okay, you see it from a distance, nestled among the trees, but - it's there! I SAW it! :o) And Massacre Valley, well, it was just like in the movie! (Gosh I'd LOVE to see it for real!) Having the soundtrack play as the 'film rolled' made the whole thing just 'come together' for me. It was, of course, that 'old' ending but you DID keep in 'I Will Find You' - that worked for me!! :o)

'Exploring...' is definitely a winner, in my book! After my memories, these CD's have GOT to be the best souvenir I brought home from G2K!! These CD's will allow me a 'between Gatherings' wander along my favourite trails whenever I like - and they will be a darn sight easier to negotiate, on my DVD!! :o)

All the work you put in, putting them together, was well worth, Rich! Congratulations, sir and - THANK YOU!!!

PS - and the four little 'extra's' were EXCELLENT!! So natural, so convincing... :o)
