: : When the fire died to embers, and the wind sighed through the trees as you pulled your blankets tighter about yourselves did you feel the spirits of long ago in the dark about you?  Perhaps one of them was Andrew Simpson, killed there when Ol' Fergus was taken by the Senecas.

: Blanket Hill is a hallowed place, indeed. Good men died there, on both sides. I felt it as a lad growing up there, and I felt it again last week. When we were there last Friday morning, we had a Remembrance to all who were there long ago. 

: I will be elaborating on it as time passes, but suffice it to say...Yes! Spirits were present, and I am sure...there is no doubt in my mind...that your ancestor was among them.
