I know, six babies is old news since the McCaughey septuplets, but it's big news here. It's better than a hurricane and flood anyway!!!

: Lastly, I'm headed to Dallas tommorow (business, yuk). Are there any Mohicanites in Dallas? Is that where Emily and Kevin are or was that Houston? I will have some free time on my hands and thought about a rendezvous or something. Anybody know?

Dear Diana,

I can imagine what a thrill those babies must be for you after following their progress for so long. What an accomplishment! I can't even comprehend what the parents must be facing, though. I thought one at a time was about as much baby as I could handle at any given moment- but FIVE!!!! Are there older children, or is this the Great Learning Experience for the parents?

As to Dallas, She Who Tracks Longue Carabine holds forth here - I think I'm the only Mohicanite who is here. I'll E-mail you my phone number, and if you get it before you fly out, give me a call - we'll see what we can arrange.
