: : : If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.

: : : (Antoine de Saint-Exupery, French Aviator & Writer, 1900-1944)

: : dear Madame L'Hugie,

: : good suggestion by Brother Antoine, nonetheless... nonetheless... not everyone has imagination, therefore to be taught to long for something, you gotta help them to experience it first... there has to be at least one ship built so you can take them folks on a voyage...
: : if you never ate a chocolate, you do not know, neither can you imagine, how divinely it tastes. I have to be able to make you taste one so I can get you hooked.... hence, I need workers to make Willy Wonka's chocolate factory produce the heavenly beguiling stuff....
: : Now why did I have to mention chocolaaaaaaaaaaate?!!!!!!!!!!!!
: : :-(

: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

: Good point publisher......but I think what Antoine was getting at is that inspiration and motivation is the key to getting things done. Using your mmmmm chocolate analogy......it would be easier to get someone to bake a cake for the first time by describing how wonderful it smells, how luscious it tastes, how it melts in your mouth.....rather than by just handing out a recipe.

: Right, have to go get chocolate NOW!

: HM

Dear Huggy,
Luscious smell means nothing if you got nothing to compare it against... how do you describe the smell and taste of chocolate to someone who's never had anything to compare it to? For example : when you say its velvety taste in your mouth.... ahhh, but what does velvet taste like? is it not a piece cloth, after all? hmmm... you can say, it tastes as good as sugar cane? what if the person never had sugar cane or .... hmmm... what, in real life, tastes and feels like chocolate so a person who's never had it, can compare it to? and does a hypotethical comparison be a true motivator for us to get up and work in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory to produce it to eat it?
Nah, the shortest and best way, for scholar and dummy alike, is to feed them a piece of already produced, real (aaaaahhhhhhhHHH!!!!!!) creamy luscious delicious Swiss chocolate.............
ahhhhh abbbbaaaawwwwww ohhhhh sob sob sob sob I am in the boondocks and can not go by some!!!!!!!!
