Hey Buddy!

Here's another one: In the opening sequence during he elk hunt, slow advance the video just prior to the scene where Hawkeye and Uncas are aiming their rifles. If you watch carefully, you'll see the outline of someone with I think a red cap on (could be a red bandanna too) standing in the background just to one side of a tree. Consensus is he was there to make sure the elk kept running in the right direction.
