: : : : Okay, here is the link again...
: : : : Bea, filling in for TC :)
: : :
: : : Thanks Bea! I missed this the first time it was posted. An honest mistake. I was busy sawing off the legs of my furniture for some wayward gnomes. I was not my normal board-reading self. This is why *I* could never do the job of our beloved TC.

: : Yes, I hear ya!!! I wouldn't be able to do it either. Our beloved TC is ALWAYS on the job!! Come back, will ya???
: : So, what do you think about our book club, Dana? We could re-start it in the middle of October!!!

: Dear TC,
: I have been lugging Chapter 1 around with me for more than a week over hill and valley, over a multitude of Labor Day weekend roads from West-by-God-Virginny to the hills of NC and back to the coastal plain, home every evening, to work every morning and so on. Now, I want to know where the time warp portal is that everyone must be entering to find personal time for reading. I am busting to find a free minute to sit and read Eden's Winter and I must say that the poor old brain muscles are still recovering from the workout of Elaine's Pax Papers. Any offering of written word composed by a fellow Mohicanite is of the utmost worthiness and will EVENTUALLY be read by these eyes...its the eventually part I'm having trouble with just now. But rest assured, I will find the time to read it, no matter how long it takes, no matter how far!!! Lets hear it for increasing the 24-hour work/school day!!!!
: If we could hold that book club at 3:27 am on Sunday mornings, I MAY be able to participate for 15 minutes or so.
: So dear, dear, TC, please don't give up on us. I did take a quick minute to zip over my order for wondermous MP Cafe items.
: Overwhelmed and disorganized ...as usual,
: Diana S.
I am a HUGE reader and seriously will give this some looking at, but like Diana I end up having about 20 minutes a day to go through the 10 or so magazines and two newspapers we get here daily, as well as the two books (a historical mystery and Civil War history) that I'm wading through right now. That plus work, spending time with my godson, caring for pets, housework and various and sundry other stuff leaves my eyes and senses FRAZZLED! I think a book club of some sort would be a great idea...and please come back, TC! Red and Mrs. O'Reilly need you to announce any upcoming Wench Fashion shows and Wet Loincloth contests. Can't spread the news without ye...
