The colonial would build a cabin, the permanent housing of the day!
Hey, there's a stereotype that the Indians lived in movable housing so they could travel with the weather. But surely that's not true across the board. Does anyone know a bit about this or where I can find out -- generally, which communities stayed put and which were nomadic?
