: It's an abbriviation of my name, Jerildine.  I was named for my Grandfather (Gerald), but my folks wanted the spelling to be different.  While it's usually a girl's name, I actually found a Native American male musician who spelled his name 'Jeri'.  Surprised me to say the least!
