I am right in the middle of doing the final touches of The Scorpion Child, the story dateline is 1985, and she is in the kitchen, top floor, rainy day, overlooking the ellipse of Central Park... but my old notes are lost.... can not find the words to Raindrops Falling on my head... something like that... my God, the tune is playing in my memory, now, and originally, when I was writing this novel, during this scene, Raindrops was playing right next to me on the tape recorder....

: A side note; the guy (BJ Thomas - great initials for a first and middle name, I might add.....); when singing this song at the Oscars Award that evening, he almost forgot the lyrics....old TGAT should have been there to help him.....
