The Wilderness Trail

We left the farm behind today and followed the Wilderness Trail from our home town of Gate City to Cumberland Gap. Of course the boys were more impressed by going through the tunnel than anything else, but the Boy Toy and I enjoyed Cumberland Gap National Historical Park and the sites from Pinnacle Overlook. Can't imagine coming through there 200 years ago. BT even managed to find a couple of books on long rifles. I guess that goes with the fire pit he dug in my back yard yesterday.
