While We're Rememberin' G2K

To ALL here in MohicanLand:

While we are once more thinking 'Great Mohican Gathering 2000', I must post something I hve been trying to get written and posted for a little while now (one of the many things I still haven't done! :0( My apologies to all concerned!!!!

I wanted to say 'THANK YOU VERY MUCH' to all who contributed IN ANY WAY to the success of Ariel's Cabin at the Great Mohican Gathering 2000! As Elaine has mentioned before, $860. was raised (another $10. will soon be on its way, Elaine), which in my book is a MAGNFICENT sum!! Especially for a first 'go'!! In terms of medical expenses, I fear this is perhaps not a huge figure, but - I'm sure this will help alleviate some of the huge financial burden on the Boutette family, a little. Well, 'everything helps'...

This figure was reached through the hard work, generosity and just plain 'caring attitude' of so many good folks on this Board. Some donated, some bought, some provided (greatly appreciated!) practical support and assistance - ALL helped to raise this sum.

I'm not going to list the names of those that helped - there were so many of you and YOU know who you are (and *I* know who you are!). Suffice to say, you should ALL feel good about (and proud of) what you achieved. You all proved that the 'spirit of the wilderness' is still alive in MohicanLand - helping each other to 'stay alive, no matter what occurs'...

Now, just one last thought to leave you with. About NEXT year - we need ..., we are looking for ... (well, I believe it is NEVER too early!! :0)

Once more - THANK YOU VERY MUCH EVERYONE!!!
