Hmmmmmmm...guess that shoots down my theory that they dipped the TERRIBLY furry DDL in a 55-gallon drum of Nair to produce the smooth chest & arms that appear in LOTM. And this is, it goes without saying, the FIRST time this has been brought to my attention, on account of how *I* would never, EVER slow down my video during the crucial moment just to check that out for MYSELF. Never. Ever. No, really. HONEST! (That tear in the weakened tape at just that spot is totally a coincidence!!)
