: : Don't know about Dana, but I know I AM certainly in your demographic group!  Now, geographic is an entirely different sit-chu-a-shun....I don't go where it stays dark for 6 months!!!  God, I'd never be able to stand the depression or survive the first winter.  Lizzie Borden wouldn't hold a candle to MY bizarre behavior if I was deprived of sun for more than a week.

: Where I live, we aren't totally sunlight deprived.  We have about 5 hours a day in Dec.  Of course, if your office doesn't have a window, as neither of mine do, then you have to make a special trip to see it, but it is there.  I used to live in Barrow.  Now there is a sun deprived town!  But even there, the moon and man-made light reflect off the snow enough that you can get around without flashlights/headlights.  SAD (seasonal affective disorder)?  If I sound grumpy in mid-winter, you'll know why.  If you know anyone who sells full-spectrum lights, send him up.  There's a big market for them up here.
