: While we're on a commercial break from LOTM on TNT, I have a question. I have just come from a neighborhood cookout at which I was one of the only people to get eaten alive by mosquitoes. I have tried Skin So Soft, Off, etc. etc. but invariably I am made a buffet by summer's pests. Somebody told me this has something to do with blood chemistry or something. I figure since so many of you have done so much outdoors, somebody here might have an answer or an idea...I mean, I get bit even if nobody else is. And if you know South Carolina, you know our mosquitoes are just slightly smaller than troop transport planes...anyway, back to LOTM....any suggestions would be most welcome.
