Dear Dana,
I am so glad that you are receiving the great benefit of starting your day in a healthy manner. This will reap great rewards in the years to come.
Now if we could just get the other Mohicanlanders on the road to "Vim and Vigor" (this is what they called great health, by the way, in the early part of the last century), we would all be radiating and glowing like you!!!

: I was mostly joking in the previous post. The green stuff is actually a real eye-opener. I have been drinking it every morning per your instructions. It kinda sets the tone for the day as far as "healthy living" is concerned.
: Thanks a bunch for the recipe, though. I will keep it handy for a change if I ever need one.

: : Hello Susan and Dana,
: : Now, now!! No complaining from the breakfast table! You must drink all of your breakfast! What about the starving masses????
: : Actually you can turn the smoothie any color you want depending on what fruit you use. It is not necessary to use soy or yogurt. It can be what ever mixture you like best. I personally find the blueberries the most yummy of all. By the time I finish making my breakfast or lunch smoothie, it is purple, or if I use strawberries, it turns out pink! How's that for a better color???

: : : : : Good Morning Mohicanlanders,
: : : : : Here goes a rather overt plug for the Mohican Apothecary! It is afterall, one of the "great treasures" of Mohicanland!
: : : : : Below you will find the recipe for the morning meal replacement that I said I would post. This recipe will take about 2 minutes to prepare. You will need to use a blender. Just as an apple a day keeps the doctor away, so will this magnificent brew! ...etc.)

: : : : Oh, alright. I just find it difficult to eat anything green for breakfast. Maybe if I pretend I'm Dr. Suess..."Hey! I like green eggs and ham!" Think positive. That's the ticket.

: : : Dear Dana,
: : : Don't be dismayed! If I ingested the above, it would mean a quick call to 911. I'm allergic to bananas and life-threateningly allergic to soy. My body doesn't understand what to do with green stuff at all and treats it as "the enemy". But yoghurt & blueberries? Yummy! (Do you like blue food?)
